….I wondered what Lanre wanted to tell me,,I got dressed anyways and headed to the said restaurant,,, on getting there, I met Lanre already waiting for me,,I sat down and we exchanged pleasantries,,,, he had already ordered my favourite, I ate,and he did too,after eating,,,Lanre said he wanted to ask for my help,,,for course,anything,I said.

Days later, Lanre came and had some time alone with Sandra, he formally confessed his feelings to her,,,she told him she needed time to think and digest the whole thing,,,he obliged, and asked her to have all the time in the world,,,she had her time indeed and gave Lanre a positive reply,,,Lanre And I were very happy,,,, I was indeed that the two most amazing people I know,are now an item,they would make a perfect couple I thought..their relationship was going smooth and perfect,we were all happy..
Soon I took one week leave and I went to Abuja,I was missing my child, and my parents…. Ray was looking so perfect,Mom had done a perfect _job in taking_ care of my son,,he was looking healthy, and well,,I thanked Mom and dad for their support,,, oh come on,Ray is our grandchild,,, the only Blessing ~that came out of that cursed marriage mom said,,,,I know mom,things may not have ended well between ID and I, but,Ray is a blessing that I will not trade for the world,,,I made my one week stay worth while,,, I~ actually came because I wanted to be around for my son first day at school,,, I wasn’t just there for his first day at school,but I was there for his first week at school,,,my son looked so good and smart in his uniform,,, I was proud of him,,,,,he was everything to me,my Jewel of inestimable value….
Father asked about the divorce process,and I told him everything that happened in detail. He was very shocked that ID eventually got through with the divorce plans…. What a world, and how wicked some people can be….it was one week and I was ready to go back to Lagos… My parents were proud of the young beautiful and smart Lady I had become….Honestly I was proud of me too…
Back in Lagos ,things were still the same with the love birds,, ~Sandra and Lanre were going stronger in their relationship,,, she was happy to have met Lanre, she couldn’t stop thanking me for bringing Lanre her way indeed God works in different ~ways,,,, I lost a fiancé before,but you see Lanre,he’s worth 20 of the man I lost put together… He’s ~everything I could ever asked,,,,she would say,,,My darling, you deserve every good thing life has to offer,and remember that God says for ones delay,he will restore double,,,, I pray Lanre and you ends up as man and~ wife,,,you two deserve true happiness,,, Amen she would say….
One Saturday, afternoon, I was home with Sandra, ~when father called me,he asked me to meet him up at ID’s house,I was surprised dad was in Lagos,, I wondered what he wanted from ID,, there wasn’t any need making trouble,I had already forgotten~ about the both of them,,I mean ID and May.,,Sandra asked we go,,,getting to the compound ,dad hadn’t arrived,,,we drove In,,,ID and May were surprised to see us,,,May was obviously very due for delivering,, she could deliver any moment ,,,what are you doing here,May asked,,, Sandra and I didn’t say a word,we didn’t know what to say actually, because, we didn’t know what dad was up to,,,I placed a call through to dad, and he said he was close…..
Soon dad,drove into the compound,, ID and May were shocked to see him,so was I and Sandra anyways…..Dad what’s going on here,why are we here,,,I asked anxiously,, calm down Adebola,you will find out soon,,, I saw our family lawyer,come down from the car too..

Sweetie when I handed over the documents of the house and company to ID to sign,, amongst the papers was a “PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT ” that in case of DIVORCE everything in his name and even the money he has made ,that is in his personal account, would be handed over,,,he didn’t read through out of excitement,and he signed everything, including the PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT,,, What?,daddy,but you didn’t mention this to me,,,yes I didn’t, because if I had done that,you would have told him,I didn’t want him married to you, because he was afraid to lose what he owns or just because, he knew you were his passport to been a CEO or a landlord,I wanted him to marry and stay married to you,because he loved you genuinely from his heart…
