Noah's Pov:
Something in my guts kept telling me to stop, but I couldn't control my emotions at that moment. 

I couldn't explain it. 

At first, I thought I was only marrying her out of urgency or admiration, but deep down, I felt a complex mix of desire and doubt. 

But...even when Audrey had shown up with that baby, I still couldn't imagine myself being away from Maxine. I couldn't imagine myself choosing someone else over her - not even my ex.

As I kissed and guided her to the bed, I sensed her hesitation, like she was unsure or wanted me to pause.

I held her down to the bed and resumed kissing her. 

Obviously, there's no way I'm letting her go.

Maxine's Pov:
He kissed my lips, neck and almost every part of my body, making me tickle.

One part of me wanted him to stop, but the other part felt vulnerable and conflicted, craving his touch yet fearing it.

He was acting so fast, like someone impatient or something.

His breath was so rough as he pulled down the hand of my dress and made it reach my waist level.

"Noah...wait", I said breathlessly, but he fought past my voice and ripped off my b*a. 

I gasped as he took my left nipple into his mouth, tickling me.

I shut my eyes, clutching his hair, feeling a strange, unfamiliar emotion that made my heart race even more.

He s*cked the nipple and fondled the other b*reast. 

Then, I felt him dragging my dress off completely, and it dawned on me I was becoming stark n*ked in front of him.

He left my b**bs and concentrated on taking the dress off completely, and my heart pounded. 

"Do you want me to stop?" He asked as he came to lie between my legs, his head resting on my chest.
I couldn't say a word as I just stared up at the ceiling, my heart pounding so fast. 

I felt his cold hand touch my bare skin as he reached for my p*nt and started pulling it down.

I tried stopping him, but he locked his lips on mine and rendered me helpless.

He unhooked his belt and took off his shirt, and believe me or not, the rest of the night was fun.

Noah's Pov:
The sun glinted on the window as I opened my eyes and caught the rays.

I stretched slightly and found Maxine still sleeping on the bed.  

Oh!

I smiled and moved the hair that flopped carelessly over her eye.

She was so pretty, and I felt a pang of guilt for hurting her last night, yet I couldn't help feeling glad it was me. 

Well, I still felt glad it had to be me. 

I smiled and planted a kiss on her forehead before putting on my clothes and leaving the room quietly.

"Make some Creamy coffee for two", I instructed the first maid I came across, and she bowed and left.

I went into my room and brought out my phone.

"Finally, I think it's time", I thought as I searched for Audrey's contact.
