Our marriage was going on fine, everything seems perfect,I couldn’t have asked for a better life partner,,he was caring, loving, and everything I could ever have asked for in a husband, our company was going fine, two of his sisters were living with us,,,we were one happy family,,, his sisters were helpful with the house chores, but I do not leave everything for them,I do most of my house chores myself, as I insist,,,I asked ID to open a big business for his mom, because the vegetables business wasn’t bringing much,,,,we bought a brand new bus for his dad,and his tricycle was given out to someone who makes reports every week….
They were living fine and everyone was happy..
His family loved and adored me so much,,and I loved them too
It’s been two years, and we are yet to have our kids. I had started going to hospitals, and I was medically sound,,my husband went too and he was sound. We didn’t seem to know what the problem was,we just kept faith alive and believed in God….
I went to the supermarket one day and I met a course mate of mine,we weren’t that close then in school,,, we hugged and exchanged pleasantries and even phone numbers. She was Mabel by name, called May for short.
One afternoon May came to visit and I was happy to see her, because the house can get very lonely when my husband goes to the office and my sister-in-law goes to school…
My husband refused me work in the company with him,nor work else where, he wanted me to be a stay at home kind of wife,,,,I tried to convince him to allow me work or to open a supermarket for me,but he wouldn’t hear of it, after much persuasions, I decided to let the matter die down and just listen to him, according to him, he doesn’t want me stressing myself.
Wooowww am happy you still ended up marrying this your bobo from school,,, na wa ohh, this una love sha,she teased after seeing our wedding portrait hugged beautifully on the wall, she went through our wedding album and watched the wedding CD….
May and I somehow became close friends, she comes visiting almost everyday,we discussed her,and she said she has twin girls but unfortunately she had ended things with her girls father ... .I tried to know what had caused their breakup, but she wasn’t willing to share, so I just let go…
I never really knew her from school, but I introduced her to him one weekend she came visiting….
My roommate and best friend in school who was based in Port Harcourt soon relocated to Lagos due to her kind of work…we became close friends again….
Sandra, my roommate was surprised at how close I and May were,,,since when did this friendship and closeness started between you and May, she had asked,, oh I met her in a supermarket, that was how we started, I replied.. You had better Be careful with that May girl,,,Sandra said, she is corny and full of deceit, I heard a lot of tales about her back then in school,,,be careful, Ade,,,
I took it lightly, I just felt Sandra was saying this because she was jealous of someone sharing her best friend with her…
We laughed about the whole issue and Sandra was ready to go home…
