SHE’S STUBBORN HE’S ARROGANT

STELLA
I stood at the entrance of the club with Saga and Zac.
I was wearing a black short flat skirt and a pink top that had diamonds around it.
The whole place was buzzing with loud music and people couldn't stop dancing.
Wow!
It's been ages since I've been to a club.
"Meet us at your car once its 9. We can't stay long. You can also drink a whole jug of alcohol if you like...Am sure the baby won't mind" Sasha sneered and left with Zac trailing behind her.

I made my way to the counter and ordered a lemon juice with no ice.
I sipped it slowly just enjoying the beat of the music that shook the floor.
I couldn't take my mind off him - Jeremy.
I know he must be having a great time over there with girls and alcohol.
He really wanted to get away from me and do whatever silly thing he wanted.
I sniffed and continued to sip from the juice.
I feel so stupid!
What's wrong with me? I actually fell in love with someone so heartless, cold and of course, a man that has slept with lots of girls.
I shouldn't have agreed to marry him.
What was I thinking???
I was just so naive and didn't want to disobey dad.
I felt the presence of someone close and I looked up.
"Kelvin?" I was quite surprised.
It's been so long and we lost contact after I spent the night at his place which caused a fight between Jeremy and I.
He scoffed and sat on the long stool beside mine.
He looked so different now...and cooler.
"How have you been besties?" He asked and I smiled.
"I'd say...fine" I replied and took my eyes back to the counter.
"How about you?...am sorry I just...dumped you at the hospital like that but Jeremy was very judgy and misunderstood everything" I paused when he sighed.
"Am not angry with you for leaving me there. I am grateful..you were there when I needed you so I have no course to be mad.
"Although...I am sad you didn't tell me you married Jeremy. I thought he was the one who made your days at high school a living hell?".
"Yeah...he was the one. Perhaps but he's changed now.
We're no longer 15 like we were then" I stated and he chuckled.
"I hope he's treating you right" He said and I nodded abruptly.
"He won't dare to hurt me. He's crazy over me for sure" I replied and he smiled broadly.
"Am happy about that then...Who wouldn't love you. You're an amazing woman Stella" He said and I blushed.
"Thanks best friend" I beamed.
"You're taking lemon juice. I guess there's a little one on the way, huh..." he said and I chuckled.
"Gosh...you know me so well Kelvin. Am pregnant" I said and he twitched.
"And the almighty Jeremy allowed you to step foot in a club?" He asked and we laughed together.
"He's not aware. He traveled for a business meeting" I said.
"That's great cause I've got a gist for you..." He paused and turned to the waiter at the other side of the counter.
"One vodka please".
I smiled remembering the first time I got drunk at Jeffery's house.
So embarrassing.
But I am glad I have someone to talk to.
We began talking about a lot of things and he told me about his girlfriend.
I am so happy for him.

The hours went by quickly and I was starting to get tired.
I was exhausted.
I looked behind me to see Sasha and Zac patiently waiting fot me to end my conversation with Kelvin.
I was about to call it a night but Kelvin had also bid me goodbye.
I was left alone.
I took a barbecue chicken and took a bite. There was so much pepper and it burned my tongue.
I took the lemon juice but it didn't subside the stings.
The two couples came to me and I took the wine Sasha was holding and gulped it all down at once.
"What the heck is wrong with you?!" Sasha half yelled and collected the empty glass from me.
The wine tasted so sweet and I liked it.
"Can I get more of that drink?" I asked and they scoffed.
"It's sweet but it has 50% of alcohol Stella, you shouldn't have taken that" she stated sounding pissed.
I laughed, feeling my head spin.
"Those red spots on your skin makes you look like an infected dog" I said sheepishly before laughing out loud.
She looked down feeling ashamed.
"Something tells me she's drunk already" Zac said and I rolled my eyes, standing up.
My feet felt wobbly and I fell backwards but Zac caught me.
"Oh... Let me go!" I rasped and stood to my feet.
I ran into the crowd having the urge to dance.
SASHA
Yeish!
She's crazy...now I know!
Zac and I went into the dancing and jumping crowd looking for Stella.
Fridays are the busiest days at the club.
We kept looking for her and soon we heard a scream.
That's Stella's voice.
We looked up to see her standing on the counter.
She was dancing and jumping and Zac laughed.
"Let's go get her," he said but I stopped him.
"No...let her disgrace herself. She deserves it. This is our own payback, okay?" I retorted and he shook his head.
"Think about Jeremy. He'll be mad if he learns we took his wife out and she messed up and she hurt herself" He said and I sighed.
"Fine" I muttered and we forced our way to where she was and pulled her down.
Zac carried her and we left the noisy place.
We got into our car and Stella was already asleep.
Zac started the car and we drove out.

I didn't want to touch her or help her. But then...
She hasn't really hurt me in any way so I offered to change her clothes.
We laid on her bed in a fresh new dress which was comfortable for sleeping before leaving the room.
I returned to our bedroom and Zac was making a call.
"Hey..." I said sitting on the bed.
"Hi.. Something happened, the hall Glory booked for her birthday party is bursted and now she needs a venue for her party this night" he said and I flinched.
"Really? I forgot about the party...how much is she offering for a place?" I asked and GE smiled.
"3000 dollars".
Wow!
"Call her back and tell her we have a place to host the party for her...we're doing it here. But it's only for a 3 hour party - that's till 1 in the morning, huh?" I said with a grin.
"You want to use your cousin's house to party without his permission?" He asked, holding me up by my waist.
"That's how we'll make some extra cash and besides, Stella's drunk and asleep. We can totally pull this off" I said convincingly and he smirked.
"Fine, let's do it," he said and I nodded.
STELLA
my eyes opened slowly as I heard loud music fill my eyes again.
It's still night...midnight.
I got off the bed and went downstairs.
I got the greatest shock I haven't gotten in months!

There were lots of ladies dancing and twerking with some boys behind them.
Did I miss something?
Who's throwing a party???
I finally saw the two devils,
Sasha and Zac dancing.
"What the fu-k is going on here?!" I yelled and they turned to me stunned.
"I thought you were drunk..." Zac muttered.
"End this party right now before I lose my patience!" I rasped and went back upstairs.
Those two never seized to amaze me.
After some minutes, the song died down completely and there wasn't much noise.
I heard cars driving out from the compound and that made me relieved.
Jeremy should see how his house is in the space of two days.
I was starting to get sleepy again so I closed my eyes and slept off.

I turned and kicked the duvet endlessly as I struggled to open my eyes.
I was so weak and tired.
I exhaled sharply as I turned on the bed again facing my left side.
What on earth!
Jeremy was on the bed next to me...sleeping. His eyes were closed and I stared at him in dismay.
Oh geez!
He's back.
He's really back.
